Because it is 95 degrees in November and that is normal

I think my title says it all. The climate is going insane. First, Sandy takes the East coast by storm(Hah inappropriate/immature pun). On a serious note, I hope everyone is okay! Meanwhile on the west coast, it is November 5th and a sunny 95 degrees. Because that is completely normal right? Obviously the climate thinks we are on the other side of the hemisphere... It's been messing me up to dress accordingly so I prepare with layers for all weather conditions. I do not know what to do with myself. Los Angeles weather is so predictable that no one is prepared for "crazy" weather. Help.

Shirt like Swimming Pools

Although compared to the majority, my middle school days are not that far behind me, they feel that way. I remember loving having my bra straps show because everybody thought it was so cool. It was the trend. The best type were the pretty lacey ones with other straps on top of them. Oh, how times have changed. Now, I hate when bra straps show because it almost adds an element of "trashy-ness." If you have not noticed, I am obsessed with bare shoulders. I hate having bra straps show, and would much rather have it appear I am not even wearing one. The amount of back-facing photos I have posted recently is unacceptable, but I couldn't help myself. Right now I am just into this weird beauty of a "bare" look.

Also, you can refer to me as "skater" girl or some other variation for always wearing Vans, but I feel they add such a unique twist. Instead of combat boots, they emanate a sporty feel. If you have not discovered already, running around in sneakers is far superior than boots.

California's Weather Ignorance

Dear Los Angeles,
As October is coming to a close, I still have not been able to wear fall clothing. Please conform to normal weather already.

In reality, how is it possible that I can manage to wear a skirt and sleeveless shirt without shivering? Did the cold-weather cloud miss Los Angeles? Why must it always miss Los Angeles? If everybody I know was photographed, we would look like weather-confused children. Apparently it is supposed to be 70 degrees tomorrow! How exciting! That is cold weather right? Am I right or am I right?

Happy Skulls

Excuse my long absence, I was sick! I hate that when you feel sick, you cannot recall what it is like to feel normal. The most unfortunate aspect was that my sickness occurred during the one week Los Angeles got "cold" weather, my favorite kind. On the bright side, I am feeling better, but it is also the middle of October and 94 degrees outside! That hot weather caused me to put away my jeans and pull out some spring/summer favorites. What better way to celebrate my first un-sick day than wearing one of my favorite shirts? Hehe!
